Job summary

ZENOVO in Cambridge is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain embedded software for prototype and production systems. You will work across the full software lifecycle, from requirements to deployment, in a team of software, systems and hardware engineers.

Qualifications

  • Commercial experience developing embedded software within a regulated environment.
  • Experience with 32-bit CPUs, FPUs, interrupts, peripherals and real-time programming.
  • Knowledge of MISRA C and embedded software development best practices.
  • Experience developing device drivers.
  • Understanding of software development, testing and quality processes.
  • Experience with communication and development tools, such as Vector tools.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer


Location: Cambridge (On-Site Working)


Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience)

Overview

An opportunity has arisen with a repeat clientwho are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team developing embedded software for next-generation electronic control systems.


A successful candidate will be working closely with experienced software, systems and hardware engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to exciting new technologies.


This role is ideal for someone with 1+ year of commercial experience looking to make their first career move, with the opportunity to take ownership, develop their skills and contribute to new products and technologies within a growing engineering function.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain embedded software for prototype and production systems.
