Job summary

Quintessential Design Service Limited is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Lead to own embedded cyber security for chassis features. You will implement Secure Boot, Secure Software Update and code signing, and specify HSM integration to support robust cryptographic services.

You will collaborate with ADAS, motion and powertrain teams, review supplier solutions, and drive security awareness within the delivery teams. A UK-based role with remote international flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cryptographic concepts including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, certificate management and PKI.
• Hands-on experience with HSMs, cryptographic accelerators or secure elements.
• Experience applying ISO21434 and cyber security lifecycles in automotive/IT contexts.
• Proven experience collaborating with suppliers to design and deliver cyber security solutions.
• Excellent teamwork, organization and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work to a high standard.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security activities for chassis features through the OEM lifecycle.
• Implement embedded security solutions including Secure Boot, Secure Software Update and code signing.
• Specify and support HSMs integration and cryptographic services.
• Review supplier cybersecurity solutions for project compliance with standards.
• Liaise with ADAS, motion and powertrain teams to embed cyber security requirements.
• Engage with SMEs and engineers to drive security awareness and delivery excellence.
• Support test engineers in Verification & Validation of cyber security requirements.
