Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions is seeking an Embedded FPGA engineer for Stirling. The role requires 5+ years in embedded systems with FPGA, Verilog, and VHDL exposure. Hybrid work is available with 3 days on-site.

You will develop, test and debug embedded software for electronics, integrate microprocessors/SoCs, assist with RTL design and simulations, and document procedures and reports for cross-functional hardware/software teams.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and digital electronics.
• Basic understanding of FPGA technology and programmable logic.
• Familiarity with Verilog and/or VHDL.
• Basic programming skills in C or C++.
• Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and debug embedded software for electronics.
• Support the integration of microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs and SoCs.
• Assist with FPGA development, including basic RTL design, simulation and verification.
• Work with hardware description languages such as Verilog and VHDL.
• Support the development and testing of hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
• Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting and hardware/software integration.
• Prepare technical documentation, test procedures and engineering reports.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA and software engineers to deliver reliable flight-computer solutions.
