Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking an experienced Lead FPGA Engineer for a hybrid role in the UK aerospace sector. The position covers FPGA design, implementation and verification on complex electronic systems, with strong VHDL engineering experience valued.

The contract is initial 6 months, on-site two days and remote three days, with SC clearance required and sole British nationals only due to the project. Prior experience in safety-critical environments is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial FPGA engineering experience
• VHDL/RTL design or verification experience
• FPGA development with Xilinx/Intel or similar
• FPGA simulation, debugging or implementation
• Requirements-driven engineering and controlled development
• Experience on complex electronic hardware
• Work with multidisciplinary electronics teams
• Safety-critical/high-integrity development experience (DO-254)
