Job summary

Intros is seeking a Senior/Principal firmware engineer to design and develop firmware using VHDL/Verilog and verify with SystemVerilog. You will work across Systems, Hardware and Software teams to deliver robust firmware for complex systems.

The role requires 5+ years in firmware, strong FPGA toolchain experience, DO-254 DAL guidance familiarity, and excellent communication. Hybrid work with 2–3 days on site in multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience developing firmware using VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains and design flows as listed.
• Ability to derive firmware requirements from system/hardware specs.
• Experience with DO-254 DAL guidance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and robust VHDL/Verilog firmware designs.
• Document and recording deliverables.
• Provide progress reports and status updates to the team.
• Collaborate with Systems, Hardware and Software teams to solve integration issues on complex systems.
