Job summary

ePropelled is seeking a Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware across product lines in Coventry, UK. You will work on IPS/PMU concepts, motor controllers, sensors, and peripheral devices, collaborating with electronics, controls, software and systems engineers to translate requirements into reliable firmware.

Ideal candidates have strong C/C++ and embedded experience, with a focus on motor control, real-time behavior, and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic/electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience delivering firmware into production.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience with motor control or timing-critical control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C for drivers and HAL.
• Translate requirements into firmware behavior, tests, and interfaces.
• Implement real-time behavior with interrupts, timers, and peripherals.
• Integrate sensors and peripherals and support telemetry.
• Contribute to automated tests and CI pipelines for firmware.
• Lead technical reviews and document design decisions.
• Support across IPS PMU and motor controller initiatives.
