Job summary

ePropelled invites applications for a Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware across its product lines in Coventry. You will work on low-level drivers, real-time behavior, and hardware integration with a focus on motor control and sensor interfaces.

Collaboration with electronics, controls and systems engineers is required to deliver reliable firmware across IPS PMU and other embedded products. The role supports end-to-end firmware ownership, from requirements through verification and

Qualifications

Experience in embedded firmware across product lines, with drivers and hardware abstraction layers.
Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++ and real-time concepts.
Exposure to motor control or sensor/peripheral firmware is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C for drivers, HAL and application logic.
Translate requirements into firmware interfaces and tests with clear trade-offs.
Implement real-time behavior using interrupts, timers and hardware peripherals.
Contribute firmware for IPS PMU as part of product architecture.
Integrate sensors and peripherals, support telemetry and data acquisition.
Develop automated tests and participate in CL/CI pipelines.
Participate in design reviews and maintain documentation and version control.
Investigate issues and share reusable improvements across engineering.
