Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering department in a project-based environment. The role focuses on developing embedded firmware for Xilinx FPGAs (VHDL) and PIC microcontrollers (C, C++).

You will work within a small team, delivering high-quality firmware on time to customers, and deriving architectures from system requirements. Strong C/C++ skills and FPGA experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential skills: good C/C++ coding skills.
• Experience in embedded firmware for microcontrollers (1–3 years).
• Ability to derive firmware architectures and requirements from system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for full turn-key systems, integrating PIC microprocessors and Xilinx FPGAs.
• Work to strict customer deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
• Collaborate in a small team to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.
