Job summary

Think Staffing in the UK is seeking a Firmware Engineer / Digital Electronics Engineer to join a small engineering team in Dursley, Gloucestershire. You will develop embedded software for Xilinx FPGAs (VHDL) and PIC microcontrollers (C, C++) to deliver turnkey systems on time. The role suits a graduate with a relevant degree and strong FPGA/VHDL skills. On-site 37.5h week; benefits include AXA health care, a 9% pension, and 22 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification such as HNC/HND/BEng.
• Solid experience in FPGA Design and Verification.
• Excellent VHDL and C/C++ coding skills.
• Experience of working with microprocessors, preferably PIC.

Responsibilities

• Develop full turnkey systems involving PIC microprocessors and Xilinx FPGAs.
• Work to strict customer deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
• Collaborate in a small team to deliver high-quality solutions.
