Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling is seeking an experienced ELV Supervisor to join our Erith site. You will lead daily ELV operations, ensuring safe, compliant processing of vehicles and achievement of production targets while developing the site team.

You will oversee safety inspections, coaching, and performance management, maintaining compliance with environmental permits and waste regulations, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in ELV, recycling, or related sectors.
• Strong supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• ELV Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) experience.
• Environmental permit and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all daily ELV operations within the site.
• Ensure ELV vehicles are processed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Monitor vehicle throughput, depollution rates, and material recovery performance.
• Ensure ELV rigs, compressors, and associated equipment are maintained and operating effectively.
• Manage vehicle movements and yard organisation to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with environmental agency permits, waste regulations, and ELV legislation.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Supervise and support ELV operatives and yard teams.
• Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to team members.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities.
• Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
