Job summary

LondonEnergy is seeking an experienced RRC Area Supervisor to provide visible leadership across allocated Reuse and Recycling Centres within the LEL Network. You will support site teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating resources and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste or regulated operational environments with multi-site coordination.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements; IOSH or equivalent desirable.
• COTC qualification or willingness to work towards it; delegated technical competence responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills to support site supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture across allocated RRCs and ensure safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with Environment Agency permits and environmental requirements.
• Provide leadership and development support to RRC Site Supervisors and teams.
• Oversee day-to-day RRC operations, including site opening/closing, access, and service continuity.
• Coordinate contractors and operational activities, manage budget and purchase orders within authority.
• Support KPI reporting, customer complaints, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, residents, and stakeholders.
