Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling seeks an experienced Export Operative for our Preston site. The role involves safely removing, identifying and storing reusable parts from cars and motorcycles, and supporting ELV depollution. The job is outdoors, involves heavy lifting, and training will be provided.

Hours are 42.75 per week, Monday to Friday with Saturdays when required. We offer an equal opportunities policy, training and development, on-site parking and an enhanced annual leave package.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle mechanics, dismantling or related practical role.
• Ability to work with multiple vehicle makes and models.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely removing, identifying and storing parts from cars and motorcycles.
• Removing tyres and batteries.
• Supporting the depollution of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs).
• Handling vehicle parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Completing paperwork accurately.
• Operating plant, equipment and forklift trucks where qualified.
• Inspecting and maintaining plant and equipment.
• Communicating effectively with other teams.
• Following site procedures and health and safety rules.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working area.
