Job summary

G&P Quality Management Limited in Woking, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a 6‑month contract to work on a high‑profile End‑of‑Line rework project for an automotive manufacturer.

You will perform inspections, fault finding and rectification, plus mechanical, electrical and trim repairs, in a fast‑paced production environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role offers £24.00 per hour outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Automotive Qualification or equivalent.
• Strong background as a Vehicle Technician in automotive, motorsport, or high‑performance environments.
• Experience in EOL, rework, diagnostics, or production build.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EOL inspections, fault finding, and rectification work.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim-related repairs.
• Support vehicle build, strip, and rework tasks as required.
• Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams.
