Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician in Coventry to support high-profile manufacturing and rework projects. The role requires versatility to handle vehicle reworks, component replacements and modifications to strict manufacturer standards.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience with modern light vehicles, a valid Level 3 IMI, and their own range of mechanical hand tools. The position offers outside IR35/Umbrella options with weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience on modern light motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle reworks, stripping and fitting to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose, access and replace damaged components.
• Make light mechanical, electrical, and trim modifications.
• Accurately log repairs and attendance to standards.

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd as an Automotive Vehicle Technician on high-profile vehicle manufacturing and supply chain projects in Coventry. We are looking for versatile, all-round technicians capable of adapting to a full range of vehicle re-works, modifications, and component replacements to strict manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Re-works & Stripping/Fitting: Fit and strip mechanical and body parts, including interior trim, exterior panels, gearboxes, engines, and suspensions.
• Component Replacement: Diagnose, access, and replace damaged or defective components efficiently.
• Modifications & Assembly: Complete light mechanical, electrical, and trim modifications to original vehicle builds.
• Data & Time Tracking: Accurately log all completed repairs manually or on digital data systems, recording attendance and work times to manufacturer standards.

Location & Commute

Situated conveniently in Coventry, with direct access via the A45, A46, M6, and M42.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham, and the wider West Midlands / Warwickshire region.

• Qualifications: Valid proof of Level 3 IMI (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Driving Licence: Full Category B UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Tools: Must have your own range of mechanical hand tools.
• Experience: Proven hands‑on experience working on modern light motor vehicles within an automotive environment.
