Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment represents a leading London law firm seeking a Probate Associate with 3–4 PQE to handle complex, high‑value estates for UK and international clients, within a market‑leading Private Wealth practice.

You will work alongside partners and probate specialists on international assets, inheritance tax considerations and grant applications, with mentoring, client contact and a supportive, career‑driven environment; hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' PQE in probate and estate administration
• Experience handling high-value estates
• Strong inheritance tax knowledge

Responsibilities

• Manage administration of complex estates from instruction to distribution.
• Prepare inheritance tax calculations and returns.
• Prepare grant applications and probate documentation.
• Draft estate accounts, including STEP-compliant accounts where required.
• Liaise with executors, beneficiaries and advisers throughout the process.
