Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking a Probate Associate for a leading London private wealth practice. The role targets 3–4 PQE lawyers with strong estate administration experience, including high-value and international estates.

You will work alongside a respected Private Wealth team, taking significant responsibility from the outset while benefiting from mentoring, client contact and a supportive, ambitious culture. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3–4 years’ PQE in probate and estate administration.
• Strong experience handling taxable and high-value estates.
• Excellent understanding of inheritance tax and probate procedures.

Responsibilities

• Managing administration of complex estates from instruction to final distribution.
• Drafting and preparing probate documentation and estate accounts.
• Liaising with executors, beneficiaries and financial institutions throughout the administration process.
• Providing high-quality client service and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
