Bolton Wanderers FC is seeking a sessional Academy Goalkeeper Coach to support our youth development programme. You will coach and develop keepers across technical, tactical and psychological aspects within the Academy framework.

The role requires UEFA B Licence, FA Youth Award modules 1-3 (or in progress), safeguarding certification, and a commitment to child welfare. BWFC offers an engaging environment with a focus on development and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a UEFA B Licence (or equivalent).
• Working towards FA Youth Award Modules 1-3 accepted.
• Must be a member or eligible for FA Licensed Coaching Club.
• Valid Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid (EFAiF) cert.

• Effective communication: clear written and spoken English.
• Team working: supports colleagues to achieve goals.

Aufgaben

Jobbeschreibung

• To coach and support the development of all players in all aspects of technical, tactical, physical, psychological, social and emotional aspects of football.
• To manage the players in all coaching sessions and Academy fixtures.
• To liaise with the players/parents regarding their progress and development on a regular basis.
• Take responsibility for the players welfare and safety during Academy coaching sessions/fixtures.
• To supervise all players during Academy travel to and from away fixtures.
• To manage and maintain all kit and equipment provided by BWFC.
• To compile Individual Players reviews and game reports on a weekly basis, using the Football Intelligence Platform.
• To plan and deliver Player Performance Reviews and Parent/Guardian meetings twice yearly (November and April), in line with Academy guidelines.

General Responsibilities:

• Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image both internally and externally.
• Treat all colleagues as customers, ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications.

• Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the role and to the objectives of BWFC.

About The Candidate

Qualifications & Knowledge

• Hold a minimum of a UEFA B Licence.
• Hold or are working towards the relevant age-related coaching qualification, i.e. FA Youth Award Modules 1-3
• Be a member or intend to become a member of the FA Licensed Coaching Club.
• Hold in date and valid Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid (EFAiF) certification.
• Customer focus: Develops and maintains knowledge of the needs of customers and focuses energy and efforts on meeting these needs.
• Effective communication: Communicates confidently and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Team working: Supports others in the achievement of their objectives.
• Personal effectiveness: Develops effective plans to deliver optimum results within agreed timeframes, by the most cost efficient route.
