Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire in Leeds is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator (6 axle – 150t / 230t / 300t) to join our team. You will operate large cranes safely on high‑profile lifting projects, collaborating with customers, site teams and the wider Ainscough team.

We require an in‑date CPCS Blue Card for Mobile Crane Operator, a full UK driving licence and proven experience with large mobile cranes. A responsible, safety‑mocused approach is essential.

Qualifications

In-date CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation.
Proven experience operating large mobile cranes.
Experience with 6 axle cranes or similar.
Knowledge of wind effects and lifting requirements.
Strong safety awareness and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

Operate a 6 axle mobile crane safely and efficiently.
Carry out thorough pre-use and operational checks.
Set up crane including outriggers and supporting equipment.
Monitor wind conditions and environmental factors.
Coordinate with site teams and customers.
Maintain crane documentation and safety records.
