Job summary

Otis is seeking an installation Engineer to join our international, safety‑driven team. You will be responsible for safely installing elevator units while prioritizing passenger safety and stakeholder satisfaction.

The role requires NVQ3 level in elevator installation, a valid driver's license, and at least 6 months of elevator experience. You will work on-site, potentially stay away overnight, and collaborate closely with customers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 level in elevator installation.
• Driver's license is required.
• At least 6 months experience in elevators, ideally in assembly or on-site installation.
• Good electrical and mechanical skills.
• Able to read plans and perform calculations.
• Interest in technical products and new technologies.
• Appreciates manual trades and the satisfaction of finishing work.

Responsibilities

• Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.
• Work safely in line with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
• Stay away overnight when required.
• Liaise with the customer on site to build good working relations.
• Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure quality and safety.
