Job summary

Otis is hiring an Installation Engineer to join our team. You will install elevators, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient execution on site. The role involves direct customer liaison and occasional overnight travel to support projects.

As a qualified mechanic with NVQ3 elevator installation experience and a valid driver's license, you will apply electrical and mechanical skills, read plans, and contribute to a robust service portfolio across our global client base.

Qualifications

Qualified mechanic with elevator knowledge and installation experience.
NVQ3 level elevator installation qualification.
Valid driver's license.
6+ months experience in elevators, on-site or installation.
Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Ability to read plans and perform calculations.
Interest in technical products and new technologies.
Appreciation for manual trades and finishing work.

Responsibilities

Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.
Work in a safe manner in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
Stay away overnight as and when required.
Liaise directly with the customer on site to build a good working relationship.
Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
