Job summary

Alstom is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician at Mansfield (On-Site) to repair and test electronic equipment to spec and within standard repair times. You will help ensure right-first-time quality, meet deadlines, and support the repair team with collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electronics repair/engineering disciplines, health and safety and quality standards.
• Experience in electronics repair, testing, and engineering within a manufacturing environment using best practice repair/test techniques.
• Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and test electronic equipment on time and to correct specifications and quality standards.
• Provide positive support to team members as required.
• Adhere to UK Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Comply with ALSTOM Engineering & Services Limited quality standards, factory rules, and HR policies.
• Achieve KPI targets for RFT, efficiency, cost, and service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Meet deadlines set by the Repair Team Leader.
• Establish good working relationships with the Repair Team and Manufacturing.
