Job summary

SoCode Recruitment is seeking a Test Team Lead (Electronics-focused) in Cambridge to shape the verification strategy for RF subsystems and lead a team of test and automation engineers. This hands-on leadership role blends people management with engineering responsibility and requires clear stakeholder communication.

You'll drive the test automation roadmap using Python-based frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency and repeatability while collaborating with Hardware, Firmware and Systems teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical engineering teams.
• Significant experience in RF and electronics verification.
• Experience developing automated test solutions using Python.

Responsibilities

• Define the electronics verification strategy for RF/subsystems and review test plans, procedures and reports.
• Lead the roadmap for test automation and drive Python-based framework development.
• Perform complex root-cause investigations and support DoE work.
• Coach and develop the test/automation team, manage 1:1s and performance reviews.
