Job summary

SoCode Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Contract Production Electronics Engineer to lead engineering change and tester procedures for new and legacy products. You will own failure analysis and reliability work, and support production-line teams deploying testers on manufacturing sites abroad.

Qualifications

Several years in a similar production-support or manufacturing engineering role.
Solid understanding of production-line testers design and maintenance.
Strong grounding in analogue, digital and radio electronics.
Knowledge of PCB/PCBA design and assembly, batteries, RF, IR, and ATE-based testing.
Confident communicator in English, written and verbal, reporting to management.
Experience in a matrixed, global organisation.
Hands-on hardware with embedded interfaces, networking and debugging.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering change and tester procedures for new and legacy products.
