Job summary

Platform Recruitment in Cambridge is seeking an Electronics Test & Automation Team Leader to guide a team responsible for verification, characterization, automation and investigation of complex electronic products.

This hands-on leadership role combines people management with engineering work, mentoring RF and Baseband Test Engineers, developing verification strategies and expanding test automation across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading or technically managing an engineering/test team.
• Strong experience in RF and/or electronics verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and verification planning meetings.
• Coach and mentor Test and Automation Engineers.
• Review verification results, test reports and project risks.
• Support RF and Baseband fault investigations.
• Develop and review automated test solutions.
• Work with development teams to improve test coverage.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on product readiness.
