Job summary

Babcock is hiring an Electronics Technician in Salisbury, Wiltshire. The role involves delivering workplace learning, coaching and assessing apprentices, and supporting learners across the British Army. Some travel to other sites is required, with home working arrangements as noted.

Full time / permanent position offering a salary around £38,246 plus benefits. Security checks are required. No prior training experience is necessary as we will develop you into the role.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Relevant industry‑related qualification in Electronics (minimum Level 3).

Responsibilities

• Deliver workplace‑based learning, coaching, and assessment to help apprentices complete their programmes successfully and meet industry, ESFA, and Ofsted requirements.
• Monitor and review learner progress in line with customer expectations.
• Support, motivate, and coach learners through their apprenticeship programme.
• Ensure compliance with awarding organisation, ESFA, and Ofsted requirements.
• Deliver scheduled visits and complete all required documentation.
• Provide portfoliobuilding advice and guidance.
