1st Step Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Electronics Service Engineer in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on fault finding and repairing a range of electronic equipment in a workshop setting, with emphasis on component-level PCB work and schematic reading.

The successful candidate will solder through-hole and surface-mount components, read schematics, and work Monday to Friday with a monthly bonus and opportunities for training and progression within a specialist engineering company.

Qualifications

• Background in electronics repair, servicing or fault finding.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing PCBs at component level.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Programming or reverse engineering experience advantageous but not essential.

An excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer with experience in fault finding and repairing electronic equipment, looking for a varied and hands-on role within a specialist engineering company.

This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of electronic equipment, developing your technical expertise in component-level fault finding, PCB repairs and testing, whilst enjoying a high level of autonomy.
