Job summary

Bolt Technical in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced R&D Manager - Electronics to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the full product development lifecycle from concept to production.

You will drive the R&D strategy, manage multiple electronics projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Quality to deliver innovative products.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary R&D engineering team of 4.
• Define and deliver the R&D strategy in line with business objectives.
• Oversee the design and development of electronic products.
• Manage products from concept and feasibility through to prototyping, testing and production.
• Provide technical leadership across electronics, embedded systems and product development.
• Oversee product testing, validation and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring priorities, timescales and deliverables are met.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the product portfolio.
