Job summary
RHL Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Manager for a Mid Kent site. You will lead Mechanical, Electronic, Software and Physics/technical teams to deliver robust, manufacturable and commercially viable solutions aligned with customer requirements and manufacturing capability.
Based on-site, you will oversee concept to manufacture and installation, run cross-functional design reviews, manage technical risks and contribute to engineering strategy, budgeting and proposals while supporting staff
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics or similar.
- Significant experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Proven leadership of engineering teams and complex project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and resource multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Oversee delivery from concept through manufacture and installation
- Run cross-functional design reviews and technical decision-making
- Ensure designs are safe, compliant, practical and manufacturable
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation actions
- Improve engineering processes, documentation standards and governance
- Contribute to engineering strategy, planning, budgeting and proposals
- Ensure technical qualification of manufactured/installed products
