Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Bolton offers a hybrid engineering role within design support. You will work as part of the design team interfacing with manufacturing and providing knowledge to support electronics design throughout the product lifecycle.

The role emphasises autonomy, problem solving, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure robust design for manufacture and successful delivery in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience designing products/systems.
• Experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
• Investigative skills to find root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Able to work autonomously, lead delivery, and engage with stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal communication and engineering documentation skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and supporting/managing manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as a main interface to manufacturing teams within the design team.
• Provide knowledge and support for electronics design throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to shaping product designs to deliver customer support in manufacturing environments.
