Job summary

A leading design and manufacturing company in Chester seeks an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves overseeing electronic assemblies, supporting new designs, managing product costs, and participating in the MRB process. Ideal candidates will have experience in surface mount technology and Lean Manufacturing, with a background in the Aerospace and Defence sectors preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface mount, PTH, PCBA cleaning, and conformal coating.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles is essential.
• Aerospace and Defence experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and first-build of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Support Engineering with manufacturability of new designs and technology development.
• Manage product costs from development through to production.
• Participate in MRB process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
