A leading design and manufacturing company specializing in power supplies for the Defence and Aerospace industries is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer in Manchester. The role involves overseeing the development of electronic assemblies and supporting manufacturability, along with managing product costs. Qualifications

• Experience with Surface mount, PTH, and PCBA processing.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience in Aerospace & Defence is desirable.

My client is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in power supplies and associated electronics systems for the Defence and Aerospace industries. They are currently looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join their team based in Manchester.

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Manufacturing Engineer role include:

• Overseeing development and first-build of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Supporting engineering with manufacturability of new designs and technology development
• Managing product costs from development through to production
• Participating in MRB processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

Experience required includes:

• Surface mount, PTH, PCBA cleaning, and conformal coating
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Aerospace & Defence experience (desirable)
