Job summary

Everfox is seeking an Electronics Lab Lead in London to spearhead assembly, testing, and lab governance in a small on-site development lab. You will collaborate with Hardware and Production teams to scale product testing and ensure quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with electronic test gear, mechanical tooling, and both Linux/Windows to run tests. A drive to improve processes and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using and managing electronic test equipment as part of a production environment (e.g., DMM, Oscilloscope).
• Proficiency with mechanical hand tools for completing assemblies, cable fabrication, and SMD soldering/rework.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS for running test scripts.
• Ability to work independently to maintain lab standards and contribute to process improvements.
• Nice-to-have: IPC rework standards (IPC-A-610/IPC-7711/7721) and basic CAD viewing.

Responsibilities

• Assembly & Testing: Lead product assembly, cable fabrication, and test execution with production engineers.
• Lab Ownership & Safety: Maintain a safe, organized, compliant lab with stocked consumables.
• Equipment & Inventory Management: Manage lab test kits and stock receipt processes.
• Process Optimization: Improve production docs and provide technical feedback.
