Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a talented Electronics Engineer for an on-site role in Nottingham. You will contribute to high-performance instrumentation by delivering hardware from concept to prototype and production, working closely with embedded software, mechanical, and production teams.

The position centers on hands-on design, lab testing, and collaboration across disciplines to create cutting-edge electronic systems for real-world industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (2:1 or higher) required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in electronic hardware design.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and simulate hardware to achieve high first-pass success rates on new designs.
• Develop and manage complex electronic systems, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
• Work across MCU/MPU, RF, power, analog sensors, digital logic, FPGAs, and memory devices.
• Validate, test, and debug designs using lab equipment; travel to external test facilities when required.
• Apply DfC, DFM, and DFP principles throughout the development and production lifecycle.
• Review designs against industry best practices and produce clear, high-quality documentation.
