Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is supporting a Congleton-based electronics design and manufacturing business in their search for an adaptable Electronics Technician. The role involves hands-on testing, prototype assembly and production support, with opportunities to contribute across multiple electronics projects.

The candidate should have solid electronics knowledge, experience with PCB assemblies and testing, and be comfortable in a small team. Automotive electronics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in electronics and ability to fault-find to component level.
• Experience with PCB assemblies and testing.
• Ability to work in a small team and communicate effectively.
• Automotive electronics experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and test prototype electronic assemblies.
• PCB assembly, bring-up and fault finding.
• Component-level diagnostics and repair.
• Support schematic capture and PCB layout processes.
• Assist BOM creation and product documentation.
• Support low-volume manufacturing and product improvements.
