Job summary

Zenovo is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to join our Nottingham-based engineering team. The role covers designing, developing and testing electronic hardware from concept through to production, in a hybrid setup (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).

You will work with embedded systems, MCUs/MPUs, sensors and power electronics, creating schematics, supporting PCB design, prototyping and validation, and collaborating with customers to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field.
• Experience with hardware/electronics design (4+ years).
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with PCB design and schematic capture.
• Hands-on testing and debugging of electronic hardware.
• Experience with embedded systems and mixed-signal designs.
• Altium Designer preferred; other PCB tools considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware from specification through to production.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to join a growing engineering team in Nottingham.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electronic hardware solutions from initial concept through to production. Working alongside hardware and software engineers, you will contribute to a range of embedded product development projects and work directly with customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware from specification through to production.

• Experience working in a consultancy or customer-facing engineering environment.
