Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting for an Electronics Assembler / Production Technician in Worthing. The role is temporary, full-time, with an hourly rate of £14.13 per hour and standard daytime hours Monday to Friday.

You will assemble products and sub-assemblies, perform PCB assembly, soldering to IPC standards, and support NPI builds, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Manual handling and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on manufacturing position.

Qualifications

• Experienced in soldering.
• Must be comfortable with manual handling.
• Experienced in assembly and encapsulation processes (desirable).
• Familiar with IPC soldering standards and ESD protocols.
• A detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and sub-assemblies following approved work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Carry out conventional hand assembly of cases, housings, and small components.
• Prepare assemblies in line with production plans and priorities.
• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole and surface mount components according to drawings and BOMs.
• Perform manual soldering to IPC standards.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, including prototype and pre-production assemblies.
