Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited in Bedford is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. You will assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies, perform PCB soldering, and assist with testing and calibration activities to ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

Our Bedford-based client is currently seeking Electronics Assembly Technician to join their growing manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• PCB assembly and soldering.
• Carrying out assembly and calibration activities.
• Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assisting with testing and basic diagnostics.
• Identifying and resolving assembly issues.
• Following technical instructions, drawings and established production procedures.
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working safely and efficiently within a production environment.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in electronics assembly, soldering or PCB manufacturing .
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• A practical and methodical approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to learn new processes and develop technical skills.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Benefits

• 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
• Rate: £13.00-15.00 per hour
• Immediate starts available.
