Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assembler in Havant, Hampshire to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. You will work on specialist electronic and electromechanical products, using your soldering and assembly skills on a variety of projects.

Role offers a temp-to-perm path with Monday-Friday hours, flexible start times, and free on-site parking. Training on IPC standards and reading wiring diagrams is included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electronic, PCB, cable or electromechanical assembly.
• Strong Through-Hole & SMT soldering skills.
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses.
• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & wiring diagrams.
• A careful, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Through-Hole & SMT techniques.
• Hand soldering to IPC standards.
• Building cable assemblies, wiring looms & harnesses.
• Completing electromechanical assembly work.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure high-quality standards.
• Carrying out PCB repairs, rework & engineering modifications.
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics & wiring diagrams.
• Occasionally supporting prototype projects at a nearby site.
