Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Swindon is seeking an Electronics Assembler for a brand new facility. You will perform intricate electromechanical assembly, build PCBs and wiring harnesses, and follow drawings and instructions to a high standard.

Soldering a wide range of components and reading technical documentation are key parts of the role. This permanent position offers a £30-40k salary (DOE), Monday–Friday days, with pension, private medical and dental care, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays,

Qualifications

• Experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards is desirable.
• Able to read and follow technical drawings and production documentation.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach to quality.

Hours: Monday to Friday days 9-5pm

The Electronics Assembler Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Electronics Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team in Swindon. In this role, you will be responsible for the intricate assembly of components and will be putting your electromechanical assembly skills to excellent use to build PCB's and wiring harnesses and other electronic builds.

Experience of the Electronics Assembler:

• Desirable– Experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards
• Essential– Comfortable with a mix of manual assembly and operating soldering equipment
• Essential– Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
• Essential– Ability to read and follow technical drawings and production documentation
• Desirable– Previous experience in a manufacturing electronics environment
