Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Assembler in Blandford. The role involves hand soldering, assembling subassemblies in a production cell, and following detailed drawings and procedures to maintain high quality standards.

You will set up and operate production machinery safely, perform mechanical and electrical tests on finished products, and support continuous improvement and cross-training within the workshop. Benefits include private healthcare and 33 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience working in electronics/manufacturing is useful but not essential.
• Previous hand soldering experience is beneficial.
• Comfortable working to detailed drawings and procedures.
• Good manual dexterity and a genuine eye for detail.
• A reliable, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck in and learn.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder, test and assemble subassemblies within a production cell.
