Qualifications

• Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and solder PCB assemblies in line with customer specifications and internal build standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams and build instructions.
• Carry out through-hole and/or surface mount soldering to a high standard.
• Inspect completed PCB assemblies to ensure quality.
• Maintain quality standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and targets.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment and measuring tools accurately.
• Follow health & safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Assembler to join our client in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

PCB Assembler Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and solder PCB assemblies in line with customer specifications and internal build standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams and build instructions
• Carry out through-hole and/or surface mount soldering to a high standard
• Inspect completed PCB assemblies to ensure they meet required quality standards
• Maintain high levels of quality and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and delivery targets
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment and measuring tools accurately
• Follow company procedures, health & safety regulations and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives

PCB Assembler Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing
• Experience with soldering and assembling electronic components
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and build instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good hand skills and a careful, methodical approach to work
• Experience with through-hole and/or surface mount components would be advantageous
