East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical Rotational Oncology Pharmacist to support cancer services and participate in chemotherapy dosing and clinical trials at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. The role involves collaborative work with nursing and medical teams to deliver pharmaceutical care across units, including day-case and ward settings.

Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is desirable; pre-registration trainees are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Masters Degree MPharm (or equivalent)
• GPhC registration
• Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice

Aufgaben

• Screen prescriptions clinically to promote rational drug therapy use.
• Act as clinic, ward and day-case unit oncology pharmacist on a rotational basis.
• Provide highly specialised pharmaceutical care advice to patients, relatives and health professionals including senior staff.
• Support MVCC pharmacy core services: clinical screen, dispense and check prescriptions, requisition inpatient requests, dose banding chemotherapy, CD handling, trial prescriptions and TTAs.
