You will contribute to PCB layout, component selection, and electronics design across analogue and digital applications while supporting new customer opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong practical electronics design experience or recent graduates welcome.
• Experience across PCB layout, analogue and digital circuits.
• Proven ability to take concepts to manufacture and support new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• PCB layout and schematic capture for electronic designs.
• Component research, selection and specification.
• Support electronic circuit design across analogue and digital domains.
• Assist with technical feasibility for new customer inquiries and projects.
• Support system-level design, interfaces, power, I/O and integration with other hardware.
• Prototype bring-up, testing, debugging and fault finding.

A well-established and growing engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design and development of innovative engineered products, supporting projects from concept through to production.

The successful candidate will play a role in supporting the electronics design function with PCB layout, component selection, design activities and technical investigation, while also helping assess and develop new customer opportunities. The role would suit a proactive and practical engineer who would prefer a broad role rather than a narrowly defined PCB design position.

Role & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and comfortable taking projects from concept through to manufacture. They should enjoy solving technically challenging engineering problems, working closely with customers, and collaborating within a small, highly skilled engineering team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• You may be a recent graduate with strong practical experience, have completed an apprenticeship or HNC/HND route, or already have several years' experience within an electronics design environment
• Comfortable working on different types of projects rather than specialising in one narrow area.
