Job summary

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Limited in Cheltenham is seeking Electronic Assembly & Test Technicians to join our Operations team at the Bishop Cleeve site. You will support the assembly and testing of aerospace products trusted by customers worldwide.

Role involves reading engineering drawings, building LRUs, performing environmental and final testing, and recording activities in ERP/MRP systems to ensure high aerospace quality. You'll contribute to lean manufacturing and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Able to read engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Excellent manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good computer skills and experience using manufacturing systems, with a proactive approach to quality.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a Part 21G and/or CofC environment.
• Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Antenna assembly or testing experience.
• RF knowledge.
• Experience working to aerospace quality standards.

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting Electronic Assembly & Test Technicians to join our Operations team. You will support the assembly and testing of cutting‑edge aerospace products that are trusted by customers around the world. This role will be based at our Bishop Cleeve site in Cheltenham.

• Assemble electronic products and sub‑assemblies using engineering drawings, build manuals and controlled procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience within an electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment with the ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions and technical documentation.

• Good computer skills and experience using manufacturing systems, coupled with a proactive attitude and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience working within a Part 21G and/or Certificate of Conformity (CofC) environment.
• Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Antenna assembly or testing experience.
• Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge.
• Experience working to aerospace quality standards.
