Ontic is recruiting for an Electronic Assembly & Test Technician at our Bishop Cleeve site in Cheltenham. You will join our Operations team to assemble and test advanced electronic and mechanical systems that meet stringent aerospace quality standards.

The role involves building LRUs, inspecting components, and performing environmental and final product tests, using drawings, manuals and controlled procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products and sub-assemblies using drawings and manuals.
• Build and inspect Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
• Perform environmental and final product testing per procedures.
• Record production activities in ERP/MRP systems and follow safe practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll play an essential role in the assembly, inspection and testing of advanced electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring every product meets the highest aerospace quality standards before delivery.You will be Assembling electronic products and sub-assemblies using engineering drawings, build manuals and controlled procedures. Building and inspecting complex Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
