Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is recruiting for a Permanent Electronic Assembly Technician in Warrington, UK. The client is a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke components for Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Aerospace industries.

You will assemble transducers, cable assemblies and accessories, solder small components, and work to electrical drawings. Maintain a tidy, safe workspace on a busy shop floor and follow build instructions, prioritising multiple orders.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Electrical Wiring and Electronic Assembly.
• Previous experience in small electronic type bench assembly.
• Understanding of electrical drawings/schematics
• Soldering experience of small components.
• Analytical and problem-solving electronic fault finding/ fault investigation and reporting.
• Attention to detail, dedicated, able to work within small team.

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Electronic Assembly Technician for our client who are a highly reputable UK leader in the design and manufacturing of specialised/bespoke components for the Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Aerospace industries.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will carry out the assembly and, where appropriate, the refurbishment of the Company's products.

As an Electronic Assembler your duties will be;

• Assemble transducers, make cable assemblies and accessories as directed.
• Solder electronic components.
• Work to electrical drawings/schematics.
• Maintain a tidy workplace environment.
• Safe use of hydraulic press.
• Follow work/build instructions, prioritising multiple orders.
