Job summary

Workshop Recruitment in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Assembler to join a growing electronics manufacturing business. You will assemble electronic components, read drawings, and perform PCB assembly tasks to a high standard in a team-focused environment.

The role requires excellent manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions. IPC/J-STD familiarity is a plus, with a supportive, quality-driven workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assembler within electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly).
• Knowledge of SMT is desirable.
• Screen printing experience would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with IPC or J-STD standards is beneficial.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions.
• Reliable team player with good written and spoken English.
