Job summary

Holt Engineering in Poole is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join the production team. You will assemble, test and troubleshoot electromechanical components to tight specifications, using hand and power tools and reading drawings.

This full-time role runs 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Friday early finish. Salary £12.71–£13.50 per hour depending on experience, plus ongoing training and a collaborative, safety‑conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with PCB assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain safety-compliant workstation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and systems according to work instructions.
• Read drawings and diagrams for correct assembly.
• Conduct functional testing and quality inspections of assembled products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues with quality teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in safety standards.
