Job summary

Holt Engineering in Poole is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their growing manufacturing team. You will assemble and wire electrical systems and build control panels for bespoke machinery in a clean, modern environment.

Working alongside production, test and quality teams, you will carry out electrical testing and inspections, document builds, and support continuous improvement to ensure right-first-time results.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
• At least two years' experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electro-mechanical build.
• Ability to confidently interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Experience carrying out electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
• IPC certification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and wiring electrical systems using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Building and installing electrical control panels into bespoke machinery.
• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and safety checks throughout the build process.
• Completing build documentation and test records accurately. Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Working collaboratively with production teams to achieve right-first-time builds.
