Job summary

KLA Corporation’s SPTS division in the UK seeks a dedicated mechanical assembler to build and repair electro-mechanical sub‑assemblies. You will perform precision metal work, polishing, and rework to meet stringent quality standards for wafer processing equipment.

You will read technical drawings, follow SOPs, and collaborate with quality and production engineering teams to drive continuous improvement while maintaining safe working practices and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical experience in a similar role or environment.
• Hands-on experience with metal work and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, repairing and modifying new parts and products.
• Detailed metal work and finishing.
• Polishing and rework of defective parts.
• Assembling a wide variety of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Carrying out vacuum leak checks to high standards.
• Following SOPs and maintaining meticulous records.
